I am after some thoughts on what the Crusader Stronghold should look like.
The Crusader Stronghold is where you can create the Crusader units.
I am thinking it should be a good defensive structure. It should also be noted that I am thinking of having this building as limited to one per player, as Crusader Orders did not have fast armies, and the untis created there provide the reargaurd and vanguard for your armies (where applicable

Any images would be appreciated.

Hey i thought about this earlier, In the period the Military Orders such as the Knights Templar and The Knights Hospitaller were known for having what were called chapter houses, spread all over europe, these were essentially minor churches, where they would recruit both Knights and commoners to serve amongst their ranks both in europe and outremer ( the holy lands ) ill find a picture of some in france which werent pulled down.

My idea though was to not include crusaders just yet since their application was fully in the holy lands not in the in fighting between the crowns of europe.

I agree the Crusader's aren't a big issue at the moment and won't be included in the mod until at least we start on the Muslim factions. I was more so looking forideas on what a building should look like to house the Crusader units, that way I don't make a building for something else which we should be using for the Crusader units.

I was reading up on the templars and found this picture on wikipedia. It is just what I meant by Chapter Houses, this one is particularly well preserved and Iconic of what the templars belonged to; A Military Monastic Order.

Doesnt it!! I must say though that not all Templar chapters where quite the same that one was built to certain specifications for them and by them. But in game it would look spectacular!
