Strengths & weaknesses:

Unit information:
The militia unit is essentially a lightly armed peasant, it is the weakest of all military units, but this unit does serve a purpose, as not only are they quick and cheap to produce, they provide good infill for your ranks and can often cause confusion to your enemy, and can be good for skirmishing amongst your other infantry.
The militia unit will rout if charged by mounted units, so it is important to place the militia unit strategically to avoid a direct cavalry charge.

Strengths & weaknesses:
Good attack versus mounted units except lance equipped mounted
units. Vulnerable to arrow/crossbow fire. Vulnerable to
heavy infantry units.
Unit information:
The Pikeman unit comes equipped with chain mail armor, kettle helmet, and the Pikemans main weapon, a pike; a long wooden stick with a sharp tip usually a very sharp spear head and was particularly effective against mounted cavalry units. Used in box formation, the Pikeman formation can be deadly against a mounted charge.

Unit information:
During medieval battles it was common for a knight
to dismount his steed in certain strategic situations. Introducing the
Dismounted Knight, although not as quick moving as his mounted counterpart, this noble
knight still packs a punch. This unit lacks the charging power of his mounted counterpart but is excellent in close quartered combat.

The Longbowman in the game is unique
to the English. The Longbowman fires the furtherest of all archer units.
The Longbowman also has melee attack option and uses a short sword to
attack. The added bonus of the Longbowman is this unit can also build
stakes as a defensive position to slow down incoming enemy cavalry or infantry

Unit information:
The Catapult has two uses in the game, the first
and foremost function of this unit is to attack buildings with a large
stone projectile, it's second function is on the battlefield firing at
enemy troops and positions. It has two projectile options, you can choose
the Catapult to fire a stone boulder, which is good against buildings and
can also fire at troops but will often only affect a couple of enemy
units, or you can choose to load scattered stone, the scattered stone will
not fire as far as the stone boulder, but it is useful against enemy
troops as it will fire a number of smaller stone boulders. It hasn't got
the range of the Trebuchet, but it is lighter and moves faster and is also
quicker to reload.

Unit information:
When you have defeated a field army,
you will often find your opponent will garrison what's left of his units in
buildings such as the castle, this results in a siege, the trebuchet is
the perfect weapon to hurl large rocks and pound the buildings safely from
a distance.
